Portable Venterinary Surgical CO2 laser Device
Product Description
Product Overview
The BS-COL1 Veterinary CO2 Surgical Laser is a cutting-edge medical device designed for precision veterinary surgery. Manufactured by LUMSAIL INDUSTRIAL INC., this laser system utilizes sealed-off CO2 laser technology to deliver safe, efficient, and minimally invasive surgical solutions for pets.
What Is a Laser and How Does It Work?
A laser (Light Amplification by Stimulated Emission of Radiation) generates a focused beam of light energy at a specific wavelength. The BS-COL1 uses a CO2 laser with a wavelength of 10.6 μm, which is absorbed by water in skin and soft tissues. This absorption vaporizes cells, enabling precise tissue cutting. The surgeon can control energy absorption to minimize damage to surrounding tissues, ensuring optimal surgical accuracy.
Key Applications & Use Cases
-
Soft Tissue Surgery
- Ovarian hysterectomy (spay procedures)
- Tumor removal (e.g., skin masses, oral lesions)
- Dental surgeries (gingivectomy, tooth extraction)
- Wound debridement and tissue ablation
-
Sterilization Procedures
- Safe and efficient spaying/neutering with reduced post-operative complications.
-
General Veterinary Applications
- Eye surgeries (e.g., corneal ulcer treatment)
- Ear canal procedures
- Perineal and anal sac surgeries
- Plastic and reconstructive surgeries
Co2 surgical laser
The CO2 surgical laser was one of the first lasers to be introduced to the medical field about four decades ago, and is still one of the most useful and efficient medical lasers available in the market. The superior edition of the Miran CO2 surgical laser continues this long tradition equipped with genuine SuperPulse mode to achieve maximum precision with minimal thermal damage to surrounding tissue.
Co2 Surgical Laser Applications
The Co2 Surgical Laser is used for a wide variety of medical applications such as in dental, surgical, podiatry, dermatology, aesthetics, gynecology, and ENT applications.
CO2 Laser Medical Instrument is widely used, and adapted to general surgery, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology, plastic surgery, anoenterology, dermatology etc., where is needed the shallow cutting in open and intuitive operations such as, stanch-bleeding, solidafication, carbonization. It can get remarkable curative effects, especially in the treatments of cervical erosion, underarm odor, VD disease (such as condyloma acuminata), corn, etc. It also has curative effects to some dermatological diseases and some animal illness.
Co2 laser Application
The CO2 laser therapy apparatus is suitable extensively in departments as dermatological, ENT, gynecological and general surgical for cautery and vaporization treatment.,
1. Dermatology: facial cosmetology, body freckle, nevus, tumour, wart, skin cancer, the instrument can excise anything superfluous or useless in order to make people strong and handsome and to prevent pathological changing.
2. E.N.T: all kinds of rhinitises, nose polyps, pharyngitises, oral hemangiomas.
3. Ophthalmology: orbit tumour, eyelid, sty, double blood skin.
4. Gynecology: chronic cervicitis, valvar angiofibromata, cervical erosion, leukoplakiavulvae, excessive uterus polyp, cervical carcinoma in situs, etc.
5. General surgery: haemorrhoids, aal fissure and anal fistula, phimosis, V.D. etc.
6. Others: underarm odour, corn, ulcer.
Our 15W CO2 laser surgical system is an intelligent laser system. It is featured by compact structure, elegant appearance, reliable functions, easy use, easy maintenance, and build-in safety-protection mechanism.

Co2 Surgical Laser.
The spectral absorption of water provides the CO2 Surgical Laser with the ability to coagulate, vaporize, or cut, tissue depending on the power density and the energy level applied by the surgeon. When the laser beam is defocused, the laser vaporizes the soft tissue, and when the laser is focused the laser can cut like scalpel.
The laser beam is a highly concentrated and powerful beam of light that interacts with tissue in some extraordinary ways. Surgeons use CO2 lasers because of their outstanding precision. The laser beam is so accurate that an area less than one millimeter in diameter can be treated, while scarcely affecting surrounding tissue. Moreover, CO2 laser surgery is implemented in microsurgery and in rigid endoscopy, enabling surgical precision to a fraction of a millimeter.
Benefits of CO2 Surgical Laser
Laser surgery has a number of advantages over traditional cutting and cauterizing surgical techniques in that there is little or no bleeding, virtually no swelling, minimal pain for patients post-surgically, and such precision that only diseased tissue is removed.
The CO2 Surgical Laser, for example, produces minimal swelling and scarring compared to conventional methods, and frequently reduces the length of surgery and postoperative healing. The procedures are generally less painful and, therefore, reduce the necessity of anesthesia.
Advantages Over Traditional Surgery
Benefit |
Explanation |
Decreased Post-Operative Pain |
The laser seals nerve endings during incision, reducing pain impulses. This may allow minor procedures (e.g., small tumor removal) with local anesthesia instead of general anesthesia. |
Reduced Bleeding & Blood Loss |
The laser cauterizes blood vessels as it cuts, minimizing hemorrhage and the need for additional hemostasis. |
Lower Infection Risk |
Superheating of tissues at the incision site destroys bacteria, creating a sterile environment and promoting faster healing. |
Precision & Minimized Tissue Damage |
Adjustable energy settings allow surgeons to target specific tissues without harming adjacent structures. |
